Pro-Independence March and Rally to be held in the town of Dunfermline in the Park donated to the people by the industrialist Andrew Carnegie also know as Pittencrieff Park and fittingly beside the Dunfermline Abbey, final resting place of Robert the Bruce. The town, the last capital of Scotland before the Union of Crowns in 1603.

Born out of the original plan to have Yes in the Glen in 2014 which was called off, we have now decided to add on a 2-mile march to the day and rename it "Forward As One".

To be held in the town of Dunfermline in the Park donated to the people by the industrialist Andrew Carnegie also know as Pittencrieff Park and fittingly beside the Dunfermline Abbey, final resting place of Robert the Bruce. The town, the last capital of Scotland before the Union of Crowns in 1603.

The rally point across from Eastport, right next to Dunfermline train station, we intend to move off down one of the oldest High Streets in Scotland on a slow downward grade (so not too taxing for those walking the 2 mile march, past the Abbey to an area of the park which is suitably graded so that everyone will be able to look down on the stage as an amphitheatre. One of the largest spaces used for a pro-independence rally to date.

On this date, the 13th of June we put in our applications to Fife Council for approval. When that is set in Stone (proposed date, the 19th of August 2017) the hard work will begin.

In the meantime please spread the word and like and share this page. It's time to bring us all together in Dunfermline for an all-party / no party march and rally.

Here is where we start, Dunfermline welcomes you.
